Welcome to Legend High School Athletic Registration!

Winter 2025-26 Sports Registration is closed!  Spring Registration will open early February. 

First day of practice/tryouts is November 17th for all sports.

Refunds will be given for 2 weeks after the 1st day of practices, until November 28th. 

Winter sports include: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Swim & Dive and Boys Wrestling at Legend.  Ice Hockey (co-op with Chaparral) and Girls Wrestling (co-op with Ponderosa) will have registration information on their websites.

Every Athlete must have a current physical on file with the athletic department before their scheduled tryout.  You MUST use the CHSAA physical form.  Please print and bring a copy with you to your physical exam appointment.  You will upload a copy of your student’s physical in your Arbiter Registration account.  All physicals must be uploaded digitally!

**Physicals are valid for 1 YEAR from the date of the last exam**

ALL ATHLETES MUST BE REGISTERED, HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL ON FILE, AND PARTICIPATION FEE MUST BE PAID BEFORE THEY WILL BE CLEARED TO PARTICIPATE IN TRYOUTS/PRACTICE. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WHEN YOU ARE CLEARED!

Within two weeks of tryouts, if an athlete chooses not to continue participating in his/her sport, a full or partial refund MAY be given, depending upon the athlete’s situation. Athletes that are cut from their sport, after the Athletics Office receives verification from the coach, will receive a full refund of the athletic participation fee. There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS after the first contest. 

**Some sports may require an additional payment for team-associated fees. These fees are IN ADDITION to the DCSD Participation Fee of $200.00**

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR HOMESCHOOLED, CHARTER OR PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY: All students homeschooled or enrolled in private or charter schools who wish to participate in an LHS athletic team MUST complete paperwork to register as a Legend student for the purpose of extracurricular activities only.  You will not be able to pay the participation fee in My School Bucks for Legend sports until this paperwork has been completed and processed by the LHS Registrar, Megan Lutz, please email her for the forms at mlutz1@dcsdk12.org. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS: 

If the student has transferred from another school in the past 12 months, please complete the Transfer Student Questionnaire. Please contact the Athletic Director or Athletic Secretary for further instructions.
